My whole life I dreamed of being a songwriter. Just like all of my musical heroes before me. I practiced my craft relentlessly for years and sacrificed all kinds of things life has to offer. I have been in bands since I was in middle school. I've done death metal all the way to alternative rock.

From 2014-2019 I was in a band called A Vintage Year. This was the biggest seed that planted Becoming Human. We were a 4 piece rock band very much akin to Stone Temple Pilots where I was one of the main songwriters and guitarist. We started out in Rochester, NY where i'm originally from. We decided that we needed to put our roots down in a city with more opportunity so we all decided to head south to Austin, TX in late 2017. We officially parted ways at the end of 2019.

From 2019-2022 I decided for the first time to take my singing more seriously. This was the beginning of my solo project which is now known as Becoming Human.
​
Becoming Human is a rock project dealing with all things mental health related. I love blending elements of 90's alternative rock and shoegaze with and a little bit of metal and punk. Everyone who knows me knows that I've struggled with these issues my entire life. I just want everyone to know that they aren't alone. We are all out here fighting something. And over time we can all start to become human.
